I thought of writing everyday but yesterday I couldn't get internet connection. Yesterday night and day before that I watched +Vyomkesh Bakshi in DD national at 21:30. It was my childhood favorite TV serial. Now watching it after a period of 20 years or more, it was like having a glimpse in the past (also a glimpse in the bengali culture), all the characters in the Dhoti - Kurta, no mobiles, simple sets.....
As I think all of you know that Vyomkesh is a famous detective, but in this case he sent his deputy, Ajit, (not so smart, why every detective needs to have this kind of deputies?) with instruction to note down every details. And only from those notes he solves the case, though the deputy cum freind is not able to solve it from those notes by himself. It was the kin observation from the Vyomkesh that solves it, while overlooking on the part from his freind.
Well we know that answer is always there in the problem itself, but we do need this type of kin observation and ability to analyze the situation objectively. And as Ajit needed Vyomkesh, we do sometime need a freind, a relative to solve the problem for us.
Well on the part of book, (I promised to write) this serial is based on the book by Shri S. Bandopadhyay. I have'nt read the book and I am planning to get one. If I get the e-book I'll provide the link for it here.
